The Oxford Theatre Club We arrange visits by coach each month to London and to provincial towns and cities. The theatres visited are all within two hours drive from Oxford and we select midweek and Saturday matinees. We aim to arrive two hours before a performance to enable you to have lunch, sightsee or shop before the show. There are two pick-up points, Water Eaton Park and Ride car park and St Giles in the centre of Oxford. We leave between 10.00 and 11.00 am and are taken direct to the theatre. We are picked up from outside the theatre immediately after the performance and should arrive back at Oxford by 7 pm. Our members are sent details of the following quarter's programme four times a year, in February, May, August and November. We try to cover a variety of venues and types of entertainment, such as classic and modern plays/comedies, ballet and concerts. The club is run on a non-profit basis and Annual Membership is just £6 (plus £2 for each additional person at the same address). The cost of the day out covers the price of the ticket (discounted for groups), drivers tip and the cost of the coach.
